Search Assist
Typing on mobile phones can be cumbersome. With Search Assist, Yahoo! oneSearch simplifies the process of entering your search query by suggesting alternative search terms before you finish typing. Open Yahoo! oneSearch results
Yahoo! oneSearch give you answers, not just web links. Now Yahoo! will offer better answers for more queries by opening up its search results. By allowing publishers to be able to provide their own “answers” right in the search results page, Yahoo! oneSearch makes it more likely that you’ll find exactly what you are looking for. For example, search results for a restaurant might not just provide an address and phone number, but possibly information about the number of open reservations. Or, searching for a particular person’s name might bring up publicly-available user profiles from across popular social networking sites.
In addition to providing better answers to more queries, Yahoo! oneSearch will also enable enhanced discovery for publishers by giving them more control over how they are presented in the Search results. Integrating more of their data into the search results will create a richer experience for users, and enable consumers to connect more directly with publishers’ content.
